Before deciding what my opening scene was going to be, i loved at 2 different opening scenes from 2 different genres. Even though i am going to be doing my main task on horror, i wanted to focus on looking at different genres to find out why they use different shots, what they can represent in different situations, and how they gain their audiences attention. In theory these will help me plan my own opening and what shots i should use to help make my production more interesting and engaging with the audience.
